PACE also partnered with the Milwaukee Police
Department to co-host pop-up grilling events and
activities for children at Sherman Park. The unit held
events, including bingo and dance parties for patrons at
several county parks and senior centers. PACE performed
dozens of car seat installations, as well, a courtesy service
for parents and expectant parents who request help with
their first car seat. PACE assisted in the successful revival
of the Shop With A Cop program that paired 53 deputies
and area law enforcement officers with children in need
for a holiday shopping and game extravaganza.
PACE planned and hosted five hiring
events that helped drive a major
increase in Milwaukee County
correctional officer staffing to nearly
80% by year’s end.
