Fiscal Operations
All MCSO funds flow through Fiscal Operations for accounting, purchasing, reporting, and
budgeting purposes. This includes:
• All revenues including federal and state awards, grants, fees, billings, fines, Sheriff sales,
commissions, rentals, reimbursements, cross charges, donations, etc. are accounted for,
reported, and budgeted for by Fiscal.
• All expenditures including services, commodities, contracts, travel, information
technology, capital projects, fixed assets, etc.
• Trust accounting and related fiduciary duties for occupants in the Milwaukee County Jail.
All financial record keeping must be reviewed, approved and stored by Fiscal.
