K-9 UNIT
All MCSO K-9 teams passed federal requirements for certification. Four
EOD/Airport K-9 teams were tested by the TSA Chicago-area master trainer with
short-notice surprise/random assessments at the airport. Four K-9 teams passed
these scenarios when randomly conducted. The fourth team was assigned that
responsibility. All four EOD/Airport K-9 teams attended an FBI-sponsored rare
explosives training at O’Hare Airport in Chicago.
