S.W.A.T.
SPECIAL WEAPONS AND TACTICS UNIT
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office Special Weapons and Tactics Team (S.W.A.T.)
supports Milwaukee County at large events and responds to call-outs for service and
mutual aid from other local law enforcement agencies, including the Milwaukee Police
Department, suburban, and rural police departments, and other regional sheriff’s
offices. Callouts in 2024 included everything from full team deployments to limited or
partial efforts, such as the dispatching of the
